In a deadline driven industry the organisational structure of the business is deliberately flat in order to react to our customer’s requirements efficiently and effectively. The technical and production teams are multi-skilled providing real-time flexibility as and when the business requires. Managing Director: Steve Pickford
Steve Pickford founded Systems Labelling in 1989. With a hands-on approach and a keen eye for detail Steve has developed an innovative and meticulous culture that is visible throughout the business achieving rapid growth under Steve's stewardship.
"The appetite for continuously improving our capabilities can be linked directly to success. 2008 and 2009 will see some interesting developments including over £1.5m investment in new technology including IML machinery, a new printing press and of course the new corporate website including the customer extranet facility. It doesn’t stop there as we won't rest on our laurels and an aggressive growth strategy includes investigation into opportunities both at home and abroad."
Sales Director: Tony Exford
Tony leads the sales and marketing team building and maintaining relationships with key customers. With over 24 years experience in commercial, purchasing and sales within the packaging industry Tony understands both sides of the coin. "The structure and pace of Systems Labelling means my role links to every area of the business on a day to day basis. This enables me to take the position as our customers champion. This is an ethos shared by my team of sales managers and ensures we maintain a customer driven culture."

Director: Gwyn Bouch
Gwyn joined Systems Labelling in 1994 as the Finance Director and has been instrumental in the growth achieved in recent years. Gwyn's role has since broadened to include Business Development, Quality Control, Logistics and Accounts. "Our broad supplier base and strong alliances within the industry means we have access to a wide variety of raw materials. Coupled with our ability to coat materials puts Systems Labelling in a strong position. Ultimately this adds real value for our customers and is realised in the their continued loyalty, something we pride ourselves on."
Reprographics Director: Robin Barker
Robin Barker is accountable for the reprographics department and has 35 years experience in the industry incorporating flexographic, gravure and litho repro techniques plus major packaging applications. A recent addition to the business Robin has championed over £400k of investment in state-of-the-art technology in both the Pre-Press and Repro departments. “There are significant pressures to push the boundaries in flexo quality, productivity and consistency, while at the same time reducing the impact on the environment. Our recent investment in leading edge screening/imaging and plate-making facilities has enabled us to achieve all of these aims, and offer added value to our customers."
